What happen if it rains

At Archie’s, getting outside is at the heart of what we do - whatever the weather. Staying warm, dry, and comfortable is key to happy, confident play, and we plan carefully to make sure this is always the case.
Our woodland areas naturally offer shelter, and we also use large, lightweight tarps to create covered spaces when needed. These provide protection from wind and rain, allowing games and activities to continue safely and comfortably if the weather changes.
We find that when children are dressed appropriately, kept out of strong winds, and able to warm their hands, they’re more than happy to stay outdoors and keep playing, rain or shine.
What ages are the camps suitable for?

Our camps are designed for children aged 5–12 years. Activities are adapted to suit different age groups, ensuring everyone is challenged, included, and having fun. Get in touch if you want to ask about a 4yr old, we can occasionally take them, but they need to be able to go to loo by themselves and last full 6 hour day.
What should my child bring?

A packed lunch, water bottle, and any required medication. A full kit list will be sent before camp begins.
Are there toilets available?

Yes. All of our camp locations have on-site toilet facilities. At the start of each day, children are shown where the toilets are and reminded that they can ask a member of staff to go to the loo at any time.
